CARIS needs your help!

As you all know, apart from the services we provide to homeless and families living in temporary accommodation, CARIS also supports families who have ‘no recourse to public funds’ and the families who are having temporary financial difficulties. This is done by providing weekly food parcels and toiletries. Many of the families we support are dependent on this weekly food supply.

We are running very low on our reserves thus urgently need donations of dry food such as: pasta, rice, flour, cereal, tinned food (no meet please), tinned fish, tea, sugar, soaps, shampoo and toothpaste etc

Please share this with your contacts, schools (harvest donations), churches, private business, companies etc

Dear administrator/webmaster. I’m a bit surprised reading message Caris still needs help. I guessed (and hoped!)Secret Millionare broadcast would have been a wonderful advert to put you in centre of attention to show the world you need help. Obviously things don’t work out this way. Now I wonder if the opposite has happened, people might think: “this institute has received already a lot of money, now I can save my own donation”. Probably nobody knows the answer. Anyway, I admire your work and hope you’ll manage to continue this everlasting struggle! Best regards, Bernard

    • Dear Bernard

‘Secret millionaire’ has brought us fame and the very much needed and appreciated help, however the demand for our services have increased, number of referrals has doubled. In spite of this, we have and will continue to support and assist homeless families in many ways. As with any other charity organisation fundraising is a struggle, especially in the current climate! Thank you for your comment and encouraging words.
      Best wishes, Indira
